Our favorite aloe at Succy Crafts is the Aloe Brevifolia. It is a prolific aloe that grows in tight clusters of blue star shaped rosettes that turn bright red if planted in full sun. A cluster of these Aloes will undeniably be the focal point of your drought tolerant garden. A must have and easy to grow plant for any garden enthusiast.
Native to: South Africa
Hardiness: tender soft succulent - will not tolerate frost
Bloom Color: orange
Suitable to grow Indoors and Outdoors
Royal Horticultural Society Award of Merit
Recommended light conditions: full sun
Watering Needs Indoors: Instead of giving your succulents gradual sips of water throughout the week, give them a good soaking, to the point where water runs out the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. Be sure to empty the water that runs into the saucer, succulents do not like to sit in water. Then let the soil dry out completely before watering again.
Watering needs Outdoors: In the Summer water your succulents every two weeks, by soaking them and letting them dry before watering again. In the Winter water your succulents once a month.

Amazing plant. Really more beautiful in person.
My plant arrived in excellent condition and is thriving since being replanted
Ever since I saw Aloe Brevifolia at the Huntington Library's Desert Garden I had wanted one for my collection and I was pleased to see that Succy Crafts had them in stock! I ordered two and both magnificent specimens came very quickly. The leaves were full and the roots (shipped bare root) were healthy and I could pot them immediately. I am so glad I ordered them from Succy Crafts.
