Aloe Vera is a green stemless succulent that freely offsets clusters of plants. In the Spring and Summer time this succulent will grow long flower stems with yellow tubular blooms. This plant is known to have medicinal benefits but is wise to keep away from cats and dogs.

Found in: Mexico, China, India, Japan, Egypt and Greece

Zone: 9, 10, 11

Hardiness: tender soft succulent - will not tolerate frost

Bloomtime: Spring through Summer

Bloom Color: yellow

Recommended light conditions: filtered light or part shade

Watering Needs Indoors: Instead of giving your succulents gradual sips of water throughout the week, give them a good soaking, to the point where water runs out the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. Be sure to empty the water that runs into the saucer, succulents do not like to sit in water. Then let the soil dry out completely before watering again.

Watering Needs Outdoors: In the Summer water your succulents every two weeks, by soaking them and letting them dry before watering again. In the Winter water your succulents once a month.

 Technical Information About This Plant

  • Requires bright light for most of the day. Or constant dappled shade.
  • Best to water every 2 weeks.¬†

Pretty Good

Took a little long but I know that wasn't their fault. The plant looked really good and there seemed to be two instead of just one. There also seemed to be around 3 pups attached. Excited to see it grow to full size.
