"Peruvian Old Lady" grows thick, white, wooly fiber very similar looking to hair all over its structure. Native to the high mountains of Peru at elevations of 4,000-7,000ft. If planted in-ground this cactus will reach 7ft. in height. If kept in a pot it will only grow a few inches a year. Blooms rarely and only at night. Their nocturnal flowers are large and white. This cactus will also grow edible berry-like fruit. Will perform best if given excellent air flow and super porous soil.

 Watering Needs Indoors: Instead of giving your succulents gradual sips of water throughout the week, give them a good soaking, to the point where water runs out the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. Be sure to empty the water that runs into the saucer, succulents do not like to sit in water. Then let the soil dry out completely before watering again.
Watering needs Outdoors:Â In the Summer water your succulents every two weeks, by soaking them and letting them dry before watering again. In the Winter water your succulents once a month.Â
