Gasteraloe 'Flow' is a hybrid aloe plant between Gasteria Verrucosa and a Aloe hybrid. This succulent grows dense dark green bumpy, pointy leaves that resemble a star. They do well indoors as they do outdoors. They keep a dark green color all year round but if exposed to full sun will become a copper hue. This succulent blooms bright orange tubular flowers that attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden. A perfect succulent that will add texture to your succulent arrangements or as a focal point in your drought tolerant landscape.
Native to: S. Africa
Hardiness: tender soft succulent - will not tolerate frost
Recommended light conditions: partial sun to partial shade
Bloom Color: orange
Watering Needs Indoors: Instead of giving your succulents gradual sips of water throughout the week, give them a good soaking, to the point where water runs out the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. Be sure to empty the water that runs into the saucer, succulents do not like to sit in water. Then let the soil dry out completely before watering again.
Watering Needs Outdoors: In the Summer water your succulents every two weeks, by soaking them and letting them dry before watering again. In the Winter water your succulents once a month.
