Golden Ball Cactus Description
Golden Ball cactus is a tall yellow cactus native to South America. At first they grow circular but unlike the Golden Barrel cactus, will grow tall and slender reaching up to 3 feet in height and 5 inches in width. This cactus will bloom clusters of bright yellow flowers at the very top of the plant, but only until they have reached 8 inches in height. The wait is worth the gorgeous sight. The blooms will attract pollinators to your drought tolerant garden and will multiply new cactus plants by offsetting at their base, sometimes in clusters. This cactus is considered rare in many areas and hard to find.
