Haworthia Turgida Plant Description

Haworthia Turgida is a small succulent with recurved thick fleshy leaves. The tips of their leaves are each uniquely marked with green delicate stripes. An interesting variety to collect, with over 60 species. If exposed to full sun it will develop a red tint. Haworthia leaves have leaf windows to let sunlight in to produce energy, and also use them to store water for long periods of time. The rosettes are star shaped and stemless. A great plant to grow in wide shallow planters. They easily reproduce multiple clumps of babies in their growing season that spread up to 6".

Haworthia Turgida Water & Light Recommendations

Watering Needs Indoors: Instead of giving your succulents gradual sips of water throughout the week, give them a good soaking, to the point where water runs out the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. Be sure to empty the water that runs into the saucer, succulents do not like to sit in water. Then let the soil dry out completely before watering again.

Watering Needs Outdoors: In the Summer water your succulents every two weeks, by soaking them and letting them dry before watering again. In the Winter water your succulents once a month.
