Lithops Pleiospilos Plant Description

Lithops are part of the ice plant family Aizoaceae. With over 400 identified species, this makes for a great succulent to collect. They come in different colors, textures and shapes. They bloom bright daisy like flowers in their growing season. Lithops are also known as pebble plants and living stones. They naturally blend in with their surroundings to avoid being eaten by hungry or thirsty desert creatures. Lithops create small clusters of plants that look great in shallow planters with the pairing of actual stones as a top dress, giving them their genuine 'stone face' look. A unique plant to add to your succulent collection.
