It is very popular and sought after because the foliage it grows really do look like jumping dolphins! This rare succulent will perform best in bright indirect light. The flexible stems will grow very long showing off their unique leaves. A succulent plant that will look gorgeous in hanging baskets and tall planters. Suitable to grow indoors by a window or in a very bright room.

Native to: Europe

Zone: 10

Hardiness: tender soft succulent - will not tolerate frost

Recommended light conditions: bright indirect light

Bloomtime: Fall / Winter

Watering Needs Indoors: Instead of giving your succulents gradual sips of water throughout the week, give them a good soaking, to the point where water runs out the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot. Be sure to empty the water that runs into the saucer, succulents do not like to sit in water. Then let the soil dry out completely before watering again.

Watering Needs Outdoors: In the Summer water your succulents every two weeks, by soaking them and letting them dry before watering again. In the Winter water your succulents once a month.

Great packing

I am always amazed at how well the little plants survive being sent across the country. They were very well packed and survived without a problem. They looked a little droopy and dry but perked up nicely when planted and watered.

Happy dolphins

My dolphins came so well packaged and although it took a few days for them to appreciate their new home, they have perked up and are frolicking happily next to my jade plant.
